Akron Business Basics Bootcamp

Do you need guidance when it comes to getting your startup off the ground? The Women's Business Center of Northern Ohio and Akron Community Foundation have partnered to bring you: Akron Business Basics Bootcamp, where we'll take you through the essential steps to launch and grow your own successful venture! 

This 6-week in-person training course will be held at the Akron-Summit Library downtown. Businesses currently in the ideation stages or less than 2 years old are encouraged to apply! We are accepting up to 15 participants.

Cohort Details

Course topics covered:

• Building a Business Plan

• Market Research 

• Financial Projections 

• Bootstrap Your Brand 

• Becoming Bankable

Upon completion, participants will receive:

• 1 year complimentary WBC membership

• Exclusive one-on-one session with a brand/marketing expert for your business

• Application Deadline: Thursday, March 27th at 12:00 p.m.
   

• ​​Bootcamp Schedule:

  • Orientation is April 2 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 

  • Workshops held  April 9 to May 14 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.​
